Our
Club:
The
Priory Players Drama Group are based in Frimley, near Camberley
in Surrey, close to the Hampshire and Berkshire border. We
have been successfully producing amateur drama to a high standard
since our formation in 1962. We are based in Frimley Parish
Hall, which we moved into on its completion in 1990. With
a superb stage, cosy dressing rooms, a spacious scenery and
costume store and our very own sound and lighting box high
at the rear of the hall, we are in a position a lot of amateur
groups would envy!
We produce two or three full productions a year including
a Pantomime every other year, with a diverse range of plays
from Ayckbourne to Shakespeare and all stops in between. We
meet every Monday evening at 8.15 from early September to
late July and will give a warm welcome to all newcomers, experienced
or beginners, acting or backstage.

a season (£35 concessions) gets you full membership.
Nothing more to pay whether you act, write, direct, build
sets, do sound, lights, props or the million and one other
jobs that Priory Players couldn't go on without. Every Monday
night we offer you a real alternative to even more repeats
on the TV. We organise social events, such as theatre trips
and our annual Dinner Dance. If there's not enough drama in
your life, and you live within spitting distance of Frimley

Website:
PP has had a web presence for many years. Our impressive first
website was set up and maintained by Richard Jackman, using
a Freeservers
web hosting package and a domain redirecter. Fast forward
to 2005, and the face of Priory Players on the internet was
dramatically changed when, after 6 months of design work,
our second website was launched on 23rd October - under a
new webmaster, Ben Case. This site was launched with a new
domain name: http://www.prioryplayersonline.co.uk, hosted
by 1&1 Hosting.
